Event Eligibility

As we prepare for special events such as Homecoming, Prom and Senior Banquet throughout the school year, we would like to remind families of the eligibility requirements outlined in the Student Handbook. These expectations are designed to encourage strong academic performance, regular attendance, and positive citizenship while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Homecoming/Dances Eligibility
- If a student has any disciplinary referrals in which they have not served their assigned consequence or has out-of-school suspension during the date the event is held on, that student will not be eligible to attend.
- Students who are failing two or more classes on the Progress Report or Report Card prior to the homecoming dance and/or any subsequent dance will not be eligible to attend.
- Students may regain eligibility by providing evidence that they are not failing two or more classes 5 school days prior to the dance.
- Students who have obtained 5 or more unexcused absences on the Friday prior to the homecoming dance will not be eligible to attend.
- Any subsequent dances; students who have obtained 10% or more unexcused absences (Chronically Absent) for the school year on the Friday prior to the dance will not be eligible to attend.
- Students must not have an unexcused absence on the day prior to the dance.
Prom Eligibility
